Statistics published by People’s Daily on 10 February suggested that there is a notable rise in cure rates nationwide. Cures rates in Wuhan, Hubei and across China rose to 6.2%, 6.1% and 8.2% respectively as compared to 2.6%, 1.7% and 1.3% by 27 January. The figures show that treatment measures are starting to produce expected results across the country.
According to China Central Television, the number of new confirmed cases outside Hubei dropped to 381 on 10 February, marking a week-long decline. The numbers of new confirmed cases in the past seven days were 890 (3 Feb.), 731 (4 Feb.), 707 (5 Feb.), 696 (6 Feb.), 558 (7 Feb.), 509 (8 Feb.) and 444 (9 Feb.) respectively.
